Looking into your eyes
I see my own reflection
Stupefied at the sight of it wondering
How can a pupil encompass perfection?
I watch myself everyday in mirror
But I see not what you see in me
I guess you saw what nobody could see
That one thing the world hasn’t discovered
But you - found in me
As I look deeper I unearth
The gravity of your love
Sucking me closer and closer
And now there is nothing else
In this world to lose or left to find
Or anything that could change my mind
Because I have got you
And baby you got me too
The only dream that mattered has come true
In this life I am loved by you
That glance that stare
Shows me how much you care
I know that you love me
But when your eyes say it
I know it means forever and more
And one thing I am destined and sure

Over the rainbow is 'Nowhere man'

Every night I dreamt of that perfect nobody
-The man of my dreams
-The owner of my heart
-The guardian of my soul
-The burning passion in my poetry
I believed there must be somebody
For my soul somewhere
But to find him, I knew not where?

I was a hollow human hunting
Anywhere and everywhere finding
Assiduously for her lurking mate
The perfect man- worth the wait
The one who would kill
This blinding silence in my life
The one who could fill
This gaping hole- my empty inside
This heart waited for him endlessly
These eyes searched him- in vain incessantly

Then I concluded he was but a ‘nowhere man’
Who lived in somewhat nowhere land
One thing I was sure about and knew
Dreams were meant for sleeping
They never come true
But this was all until I found you
Hard to believe my dream came true
Nowhere man turned now here man
You taught me how to see
Perfection in an imperfect being
All this while you were in front of me
I never realized
I just cannot believe
I didn’t see it in your eyes
That you were the special someone
I had been finding over the rainbow
Down the valley of shadow
Up above the mountain snow
My belief turned true
As we were meant to be
As sure as there is love,

Yours was meant for me.

My life - A blank canvas

My life was a blank canvas

It had been white and lifeless

For fifteen years of my existence

And then just like an angel

You descended from somewhere

And painted our love on it

With each and every hue

Emotions strong and feelings true

That was I swear on thee

The best painting these eyes

Have seen or they 'll ever see

How beautifully you coloured

This life of mine with you

To explain it I have words so few

This soul was barren and dry

Nothing grew on it- sigh

It had been the same

For quite sometime now

But then just like the winter rain

You showered love on it

Flowers bloomed with

Each and every new feeling

I was going through

Was it your love

This soul had been thirsty for?

I know not the answer

But all I know is

You secretly planted love

And grew a farm

Where nothing could grow.
