closer to me than my own veins
and I can't live can't breathe
without you here inside of me.
You're all I need inside my heart
You're all I need when we're apart.
You're what I dream every night
You're what’s hazing my sight.
You're all that's running in my head
You're all that I wish to see
laying besides me, in my bed.
You're what I need
to kill these lonely nights
that like unwanted weed
pollutes and multiplies after-sight.
You're the drug
that will save me now
You're the antidote
that will nullify such poison somehow.
You're the ray of light i see
at the end of this dark tunnel
the heavenly bright light
that will illuminate my life- defeating
this darkness darker than the night.
You're the red I see in rose
the one 'n' only I talk of
in my poems and prose.
You're the one closest
to me and my heart
and shall always remain
Till death do us apart.
